The Horse Sense Programs offers individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities a program that teaches them;


General Horse Care

Horse Safety

Respect and Responsibility of working with and around horses

Natural Horsemanship

Western Riding

Barn and Stable Maintenance


This Equine Assisted activity requires the participants to address issues such as communication, trust, honesty, accountability, responsibility, patients, relationships, self-respect, respect for others, self-confidence, anger, and social skills.

Adults and children with intellectual and developmental disabilities

Individuals with mental illness

Individuals with a Trauma diagnosis
